Literary Journalism

Literary journalism is the creative nonfiction form that comes closest to newspaper and magazine writing. The genre of literary reportage is situated between journalism and literature. It has in common with journalism its relation to actuality. Unlike fiction writers, literary journalists must be accurate. Characters in literary journalism need to be brought to life on paper, just as in fiction, but their feelings. The aim of this book is to propose a reflection on the historical roots, concepts, practices and processes of Literary Journalism.
