Library Crime and Security: An International Perspective

Today, library environments are increasingly reliant on computer technology. Libraries have the main objectives of being entrusted with the selection, acquisition, organisation, storage and dissemination of information to their patrons. This book examines the literature on library security and collection security to identify factors to be considered to develop a collection security management assessment instrument for university libraries.
