Geochemistry is the study of the chemical make up of the Earth, as well as the other planets and that uses the tools and principles of chemistry to explain the mechanisms behind major geological systems such as the Earth’s crust and its oceans. This book focuses on the chemical reactions and processes which show them how various soils and rocks are created and also state, how the chemical components that move through the earth interact with the atmosphere and the hydrosphere.
